Who runs this site
This site is run by Riya Daftary. If you have any question about your data, or want it removed, email hello@withriya.com and I'll handle it personally.
What I collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you sign up, I store the email address you give me, nothing else, so I can send you the newsletter. You can ask me to delete it any time.
- Analytics. I use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to see which pages get read and roughly how many people visit. It doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.
I don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.
How I use it
Your email would be used only to send the newsletter and the occasional related update. Analytics is only to understand what's useful so I can make more of it.
Third parties
To load, the site uses Google Fonts and a web host; as part of delivering the page, each can see basic request information like your IP address. The services that handle your data:
- Analytics: I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites, see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Email: newsletter sign-ups are stored securely with the site's host, Cloudflare, until I connect a dedicated email provider, at which point I'll move them there under its own privacy terms.
Your choices
- Every newsletter will include a one-click unsubscribe link.
- You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete anything I hold about you.
- You can opt out of analytics with any standard browser tracker blocker.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will update. Material changes will be noted in the newsletter.
